About Us

Ganbu Country is more than a business, it is a movement grounded in the deep connections between culture, community, and Country. Founded by Skye Hunter, a Kulin woman with deep connections across the Kulin Nation, Ganbu Country is guided by cultural responsibility, care for Country, and self-determined pathways.

Our mission centres on caring for threatened landscapes, including the Box–Ironbark forest, while supporting Indigenous–led approaches to self-determination and sovereignty. We bring together Indigenous knowledge systems and contemporary, innovative practices to create sustainable solutions that honour cultural heritage and align with our values.

Through environmental restoration, sustainable agriculture, and the development of native ingredient–based products, we are working towards a future that is regenerative, community-informed, and respectful of Country. Our skincare range is crafted using native plants that are hand-harvested on Country that holds deep cultural and familial significance, following ethical, sustainable practices grounded in care, respect, and reciprocity.

At Ganbu Country, we envision thriving ecosystems, empowered communities, and shared knowledge that uplifts and inspires. Together, we are building a legacy where land, culture, and sovereignty are respected, interconnected, and celebrated.
